    Distinguished by a striking red line along its profile, this dual battery charger stands out as the most robust in REDARC's BCDC lineup, boasting a formidable 50-amp charging output. Specifically designed for higher current demands, it introduces an additional charging stage called SoftStart, engineered to handle even the most demanding applications.

    Equipped with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the BCDC1250D is adept at harnessing power from both solar panels and the vehicle's alternator simultaneously. Moreover, its built-in 'Green Power Priority' ensures that it prioritizes solar charging, alleviating the load on the alternator.

    This versatile unit seamlessly adapts to both 12 and 24-volt vehicle systems and functions flawlessly with both standard and variable/smart alternators. Its compatibility extends to a wide range of battery types commonly used in automotive and recreational vehicles, including AGM, Gel, standard lead-acid, Calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries.

    As a general guideline, the BCDC1250D is best suited for battery banks exceeding 200AH. For smaller battery sizes ranging from 75 to 200AH, REDARC recommends considering the BCDC1225D.
